Big news today: the puppies came home! Mike spent most of the past few evenings working on the dog house; it's still not totally finish. It still needs roofing, siding, and paint. (Sorry, no project chronology or photos - not enough time.) They both seem to like the dog house. They quickly figured out where to sleep (as seen below). Amazingly, they both seem to have fetch figured out already. Sometimes they don't make it all the way back to the thrower, or they might get a little distracted by something else, but more times than not they bring the ball right back to us. That was a fun little surprise. So far, Raven seems to be the alpha dog. She seems to end up with the toys - but not always. It will be interesting to watch the dynamics between them as the weeks progress. |
